One aspect of having a baby during the pandemic that can be so hard is potentially not having relatives or friends able to come visit and meet the baby or help out mom and dad. I have had quite a few families recently contact me about getting newborn photos taken so that they not only have photos of baby as a newborn, but also as a way to introduce baby to family and friends who may not be able to come visit.

After meeting his parents during their maternity session earlier this year, it was so fun to finally meet Reece. He was the perfect baby during his session, sleeping through most of it, and waking up just long enough to get a few sweet shots with his eyes open. Isn’t he just the cutest!?

I would argue that there is never a more applicable situation to want to freeze time than in those first few days after your child’s birth. Not only do they change so fast, but your memory of those first few days can be so fleeting.
