Boise Maternity Session // Amanda and Ryan

First off, let me just say that Amanda is such a trooper because I had her hiking all over the foothills for this shoot. I told her my vision for getting some golden hour shots up on the hills at Camel’s Back Park in Boise, but the catch was that she would have to hike up some pretty steep terrain, pregnant, AND in a dress. She shrugged it off and said she was up for the challenge. As we were were hiking, other hikers stopped to tell Amanda how beautiful she looked, and I agree, she looked stunning! Ryan looked great too, but of course Amanda is the real star of this show! Of course people complimented her…but what they were really thinking was, “who is this photographer making this poor pregnant lady hike up a MOUNTAIN!!!” JK…but really, there were probably a few people thinking it.

Anyway, this was one of those shoots where EVERYTHING was ideal; from the beautiful couple, her beautiful white dress, the lighting, the scenery, I mean EVERYTHING. I got home and just couldn’t wait to upload the images and start editing. AND there were SOOOO many good images I had trouble narrowing it down.
