The Dawson family welcomed their baby boy, Eli, back in September and he is a sweetheart. He was wide awake during his session, but totally content and so we were able to catch lots of photos of his eyes open and even a few smiles.

As a lifestyle newborn photographer, I am used to photographing my subject in all types of settings and often with little light. One aspect of having a baby during the pandemic that can be so hard is potentially not having relatives or friends able to come visit and meet the baby or help out mom and dad. I have had quite a few families recently contact me about getting newborn photos taken so that they not only have photos of baby as a newborn, but also as a way to introduce baby to family and friends who may not be able to come visit.
