Lincoln Joel Lifestyle Newborn Session

Prior to becoming a full time photographer, I worked at Micron here in the valley and that is when I met Christina and her husband Alex. I hadn’t seen them since I left my job at Micron over 3 years ago and so I was so happy when Christina contacted me and asked if I would take newborn photos for their 2nd baby boy. On top of that, they have two boys about the same age as my boys and so I could relate very much to the stage of life they are in.

This session was shot in their beautiful East Boise home. In home lifestyle newborn photography is so special in my opinion because it captures the spaces where this chapter of life begins. I love capturing the nursery that families often spend hours putting together before baby comes, and the bedroom where tons of baby cuddles, rocking, feeding, and (let’s be honest) sleepless nights take place. These sessions can be fun and laid back because the family feels right at home!
