Sara and Robert’s maternity session this spring reminded me why I love spring photo sessions. A highlight was when we were walking up the hill to our final location and discovered the hillside was covered in blooming lupines.

Sasha is a sweetheart and was up for anything I threw her way during the session. I had her climbing a tree, frolicking in a field (in heels) and and laying down in the grass.

I told her my vision for getting some golden hour shots up on the hills at Camel’s Back Park in Boise, but the catch was that she would have to hike up some pretty steep terrain, pregnant, AND in a dress. She shrugged it off and said she was up for the challenge.
