Summer Boise Maternity Shoot

One thing I love about summer shoots in Boise is the beautiful wildflowers that pop up sometimes unexpectedly all over the valley and especially the foothills. When we showed up for Katrina’s maternity shoot, we were surprised by the yellow wild sunflowers that were dotting the hillside and of course had to snap some photos in them.

I love maternity shoots and getting to meet expectant parents because of the excitement and uncertainty they have. Their lives are about to change, and I think it’s fair to say they often have no idea exactly how much, but I love encouraging them, sharing in their excitement and capturing a few last pictures before they become a family of three.
