Tucker Family Boise Photoshoot

The Tuckers are some of our dearest friends and it was a sad day for us when they moved home to Washington state a couple years ago. BUT, now they are back in the lovely state of Idaho and we are so excited to get to spend more time with them and see our boys grow up together! This session almost didn’t happen, with multiple reschedules due to weather and sickness, but we made it work, and I am so glad we did because we had so much fun!

Their boys were so excited to be out in nature and had so much fun going on an “adventure” and exploring everything around them. It is not always easy to get toddlers to cooperate for a photoshoot, but I love letting the kids lead, finding something that they are interested in and getting them to show me or tell me about it. That often helps them warm up to me, and then they will be interested in what I’m doing, especially after I show them their picture on the back of the camera.

Also, for anybody who has doubted the beauty of Boise after the leaves have fallen in the fall, I say nah! I just love the wild woodsy backdrop and the browns and beiges that perfectly compliment their color palette.
