Niehaus Family // Winter Mountain Photoshoot

2019 has been my favorite year for photography so far. I did some pretty fun shoots, from soft grassy meadows, to greenhouse blooms, to sunset beaches, and family living rooms, it has been a year to remember, a year of seeing the business grow and multiply, and seeing my photography skills improve. I made some pretty big investments in equipment (hello MacBook Pro, Canon 6d mark iii and Sigma Art 35mm F1.4) I delivered 30 galleries including, families, newborn, senior portraits, headshots, and special events and I launched a new website. All that to say, I hope to keep the momentum going into 2020 and I am sooooo excited for what is in store!

This snowy family session was photographed in the mountains above Boise, and my oh my I just love everything about it. From their sweet expressions to Jade’s beautiful dress, to the foggy forest behind them. Not to mention, these were some pretty fun photos to shoot with their exciting announcement!
