Boise Foothills Family Session

It isn’t often that I get to do a session with both teenagers and an infant. That dynamic among these siblings made this session so fun and sweet baby Peter was the happiest baby through the whole session.

This winter has felt especially long in Boise and when it isn’t dumping snow, we have been staring at a dead brown landscape for months. But as you can see from these pictures, there is still beauty in what seems like such a bleak background. What I love about the browns of the foothills is that it provides a neutral backdrop, brings warmth to the photos and really compliments skin tones. Additionally, if we are lucky enough to have the sun shining, there is a nice golden glow that brings even more warmth.
